এক সময়ের ফরাসি কলোনী এবং মার্কিনীদের বিরুদ্ধে যুদ্ধজয়ী দেশ ভিয়েতনাম।সম্প্রতি সিঙ্গাপুর এয়ারলাইন্স করে সিঙ্গাপুর ট্রানজিট হয়ে বেড়াতে গিয়েছিলাম সেই ভিয়েতনামের রাজধানী হ্যানয়। বাংলাদেশ থেকে হ্যানয়ের দূরত্ব মাত্র ১৬০০ কিলোমিটার। কিন্তু ঢাকা থেকে সরাসরি কোনো ফ্লাইট না থাকায় আমাদেরকে এই ঘুরপথটি বেছে নিতে হয়েছিল । সিঙ্গাপুর এয়ারলাইন্স ছাড়াও মালিন্দো এবং থাই এয়ারওয়েজও ঢাকা থেকে হ্যানয় যায়। তবে বেস্ট সার্ভিস এবং তুলনামূলক কম ভাড়া হওয়ায় আমরা সিঙ্গাপুর এয়ারলাইন্সকে বেছে নিয়েছিলাম।এই রুটে আমাদের ভাড়া পড়েছিল জনপ্রতি ৪৪ হাজার টাকা এবং হ্যানয় পৌঁছতে সময় লেগেছিলো ১১ ঘন্টা।
